The Stream
D&D Dungeons and Dragons fantasy art.

Through the overgrown forest, your day has been long. Walking near Bardora, a very chatty dwarf who seems to have an opinion on all things, from why rocks are better than trees, to why Elves are the roaches of the woodlands…you’re thinking maybe Bardora is as uneasy about this idea of finding a stream that leads to a trapped, well-guarded, cursed Shrine of Elvenkind, as you are. At the stream, the water is rapidly moving, and fish are jumping. The stream is fifty feet wide and runs deeper into the forest that is much denser and darker than where you have been traveling for several days. Bardora, “Mountain Mullets! Delicious treats! Let’s fetch some and rest up for the evening, no? The shrine isn’t going anywhere.”
